Melanie Oliver is a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner and is nationally certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She began her career working as a Certified Nursing Assistant working in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Melanie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Weber State University, graduating Cum Laude in 2003. After working several years in a hospital setting, Melanie went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah in 2006. Melanie focused her graduate education on the geriatric and adult population and earned her Graduate Certificate in Gerontology.

Melanie specializes in Internal Medicine treating diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and other conditions. Melanie not only focuses on preventative care but enjoys working with her patients to develop a plan for treating chronic disease processes.

Melanie is married with four children and takes joy in spending time with them and their many activities. She enjoys camping, hiking, frisbee and spending time outdoors.
